ARTISTIC STATEMENT

Most of my art pieces are personal but yet I try to present them in an open way because “my truth might be someone else’s truth too”.

The way I create art is very conceptual. Many different ideas come together in an art piece. I cannot create art purely for the beauty of it and believe me I’ve tried. That eventually something might be classified as beautiful is because of my sense of balance. Even the slightest imbalance in every aspect of my life is enough to set my brain off in order to find balance again. My pursuit for balance started at the age of 8 and is born out of imbalance. Apparently my walnut interior is filed with raging fireflies trying to make sense of it all. But when they find the right classifications, balance is created and they start to reproduce. This is the moment when I release them into my art. And then:

"My art holds my vision until it impregnates your brain with it."
