PHOTO OF L.A. RIOTS AFTERMATH - 1992
An early avid supporter of Unity Corps is seen photographed wearing a unity symbol pendant while standing over some rubble and
asking the questioning "Why?" - on the morning after the start of the L.A. riots in 1992. This photograph was taken by Angel Tenes at a once thriving
neighborhhod strip mall that was pillaged and then set on fire the night before. It shows just one of the many neighborhoods in Los Angeles, and
communities nationwide, that were affected by the horrific events of this tragic period in American history. Mr. Tenes would later become the founder
of Unity Corps whose mission is the promotion of "oneness amongst all humanity" worldwide.
